President’s Word.
2019 is almost upon us and it is time to reflect on 2018. We
have had 15 new ROHs and 2 ROHTs join us this past year! Of
course we are all aware of a potential “ baby boomer”
retirement effect on our ranks, possibly building over the next
few years. We are prepared to counter this with increased
promotional efforts from all members of our board in 2019. We
will need help from the entire membership (holding at 350) in
this effort, using grassroots initiatives like mentorship, and
encouraging the recognition of our profession with everyone we
meet from the younger generation to corporate and government
representatives.
